Tuscan Bow Tie Pasta Carbonara Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus cut tips 2 1/2 inches long and blanch
  • 1/2 lb apple wood smoked bacon cooked (chopped in 1/2 inch squares)
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 large shallot (finely chopped)
  • 1 qt of heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cup plum tomatoes (cut in half)
  • 2 grilled chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions

  1. Reduce cream over medium heat
  2. Add butter to pan and sauté bacon and chicken
  3. Add garlic & shallots cook for about 2 minutes
  4. Add 2/3 of cream
  5. Add salt and white pepper
  6. Add asparagus and tomatoes
  7. Cook for about 2 minutes then add bow tie pasta
  8. (Note: Add remaining cream if it seems too thick and cook for 1 more minute)


Rustic Ciabatta Loaf Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Ciabatta bread
  • 2 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 cup 4-cheese mixture
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Slice in half and sprinkle with olive oil
  2. Sprinkle garlic salt on bread
  3. Spread cheese and bake until golden brown and crusted
