Tuscan Bow Tie Pasta Carbonara Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus cut tips 2 1/2 inches long and blanch
- 1/2 lb apple wood smoked bacon cooked (chopped in 1/2 inch squares)
- 2 tbsp garlic
- 1 large shallot (finely chopped)
- 1 qt of heavy whipping cream
- 2 cup plum tomatoes (cut in half)
- 2 grilled chicken breast
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
Directions
- Reduce cream over medium heat
- Add butter to pan and sauté bacon and chicken
- Add garlic & shallots cook for about 2 minutes
- Add 2/3 of cream
- Add salt and white pepper
- Add asparagus and tomatoes
- Cook for about 2 minutes then add bow tie pasta
- (Note: Add remaining cream if it seems too thick and cook for 1 more minute)
Rustic Ciabatta Loaf Ingredients
- 1 loaf of Ciabatta bread
- 2 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 cup 4-cheese mixture
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- Slice in half and sprinkle with olive oil
- Sprinkle garlic salt on bread
- Spread cheese and bake until golden brown and crusted
